Messages From on High - "I am the Way to a True Life in Me"
Message 1169 Title: "Pride is a poison which can only be counteracted by Humility." (Notebook 58, pp. 154--157) Live † Jesus First Saturday, March 4, 2000 Dear Jesus and Holy Mother, [Jesus speaks......]
Authority is often challenged. For a variety of reasons: Simple questions. An immature spirit. An independent spirit. A selfish spirit. A discerning spirit. It can all be a part of a fruitful process with an eventual Good end. Or it can be a part of one's own experience of tearing down Truth. But I tell you this: Truth is Truth. And with an exercise of Patience and Endurance, Truth will become visible to all who willingly recognize Her. Truth is spoken in My Church through the Teaching Authority I have given Her. There is independent thought within Her Rank, and some has proven useful, when it has been gathered under the Guidance of My Spirit into the Teaching Doctrine of My Church. Some independent thought challenges but eventually bows to Truth. Other thought divides and sickens itself until it must be cast off by The Body. For poison cannot be tolerated here, self-imposed poison. The poison rises from the tempter and is filtered through pride. Pride is a poison which can only be counteracted by Humility. Humility is a Gift which will crush pride, if you let it. If you truly pursue it. O fog! Be gone from the mind and heart of My people! And so, you would ask ME questions? But I have asked so many of YOU! Where are your answers? Where does their sincerity lie? In independent thought? Or in willing submission to My Church. Are you TRULY willing to be as a child in Me? Or do you reach out like one, but in heart, prefer the arrogance you find within you? I speak thus to assist you in your development. O recalcitrant child, come here. I will show you the error of your ways. And within your repentant heart, I will show you the Glory of a True Life in Me. Amen. † (Jude 17, 20-25; Ps. 63:2-6; Mk. 11:27-33) With Love, in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of
Mary,
