Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
[The Lord speaks.....]
What is your storm? How far are
you willing to go without Me? How often do you prefer behavior which
excludes Me? How often are you busy doing "this" when you should be doing
"that"? What is your "this"? What is your
"that"?
Quote him.....
[I understand to quote from a scripture
reference which I use.....] (Yes, my Lord.....)
"You tell me that you do not have the time
to give 2 or 3 hours to prayer; who asks you to do so? Recommend yourself
to God the first thing in the morning, protest that you do not wish to offend
Him, and then go about your affairs, resolved, nevertheless, to raise your
spirit to God, even amidst company. Who can prevent you from speaking to
Him in the depth of your heart, since it makes no difference whether you speak
to Him mentally or vocally?" ["Sermons on Prayer" written by St. Francis
de Sales]
And her.....Come, child, we will use
the Wisdom at hand.....
"Keep your soul always in peace, with love
and trust in our Lord, and.....I repeat.....remember what you have promised Him,
that is to say, undivided love, persevering humility and generous
mortification. This is what you owe to the Sacred Heart of Jesus."
["Thoughts & Sayings of St. Margaret Mary" for April 28]
[The Lord continues.....]
Wisdom speaks. Wisdom has
spoken. In every storm you have already arrived at My Shore if you abide
by My Will with the freedom from fear which Trust affords you. Storms can
be great and storms can be small. Some inflict themselves upon you, and
some rise up from the stirrings in your own heart. But I am the
Constant. I am the Calm. I am the Sense. I am the
Wisdom. Others have observed Me and so can you. Meet Me in the
stillness of your heart. Allow Me to make a place secure, quiet and
calm.....and become willing to meet Me here. For here, Wisdom
speaks. Amen. +

6:16-21)
