Third Sunday of Advent
December 14, 1997Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
O my Jesus! There is an image of reflection from today's Gospel that I cannot remove from my vision. And it is Your Foot. Your sandal. And that Your Own cousin, St. John the Baptist, felt unworthy to loose the strap of Your shoe. My Lord! I know Who You are. And yet, as I reverence You, I long to kiss Your Feet. With St. John, I claim absolute unworthiness. Yet Jesus, my spirit keeps springing forth to be in You. I rush to You! I long for You!
My daughter, hear Me. (Speak, Lord. For my spirit is like a surging sea. And I give myself to You, O Lord!)
Child, hear Me as I speak. I will instruct you. (Yes, Lord.)
My cousin knew Me. From our birth he recalled the moment of our meeting. In the womb, where all life begins! How fitting that he who prepared My Way should have stirred there in the Place of Life!
All children of every nation! Let it be known that John, My cousin, the Great Prophet, has spoken his first declaration from the womb of his Mother. See! The voice of a prophet is for all ages! I tell you this: he who is remembered for all ages as My precursor, My announcer, My preparer, has given the homily on Life in the womb. He recognized God in his midst from his mother's womb! Woe to you who would declare it any other way! Life in the womb has recognized True Life in the womb! Do you understand what I am saying to you? John has declared Life in the womb is able to live and breathe and know; therefore, think. Life hidden is life precious, is life eternal! A soul is a Gift from God. It dwells for a time in your being. This is the marriage of God to flesh in a womb. See! Life is present! See! Life present recognizes Life Eternal! Do not deny the words of My Prophet as he leapt in his Mother's womb! His motion declares that life exists there! Let every womb be a haven for life. Let it no longer be a battleground for the enemy! John was fired in the Spirit by My Presence there. How many voices have been squelched, even as the life was stirring there?
God has a plan for all new life. To follow God's Will is the plan. Your freedom within it is not to say that you are encouraged to err. You are encouraged, dear ones, to follow God's Will. The Way of the Lord is Holy. Make way in your life for the Lord. Do live your life in preparation for Me. I arrive in every moment you would have Me.
See how John has lived. In knowledge of Me. Waiting for Me. He has recognized Me again in the desert. He has stayed focused on Me, on things of God his whole life. My Spirit has set him afire and he chose not to put that fire out. He invited the fanning of the Flame in his heart. And he has proclaimed My Goodness from the womb and into the tomb of his imprisonment. He has lived a life for Me. He has died to life for Me. My cousin! Holy cousin!
My sons and daughters, are you still reading? Have you begun to understand? Have you begun to live? John's experience was in the desert. It was there that he did the Will of God. Not all are called into a physical desert. All do experience from time to time, a spiritual desert. And you can see that here life teems. If you have the vision to see life. True Life. True Life in Me!
I ask you to BE. In Me. I ask you to SEE. Through Me. I grant you My Vision. Would that you begin to see the world through My Eyes. To some, there was a madman crying in the desert. To Salvation, he was preparing the Way of the Lord. Why was there criticism? Why was there denial? Why could people not see, yet another great prophet? Why did some hear and others did not? Why did some seek to LIVE what was proclaimed, and others returned to the ordinariness of their lives? History repeats itself, but is that a worthy lesson?
How worthy are YOU? Have you seen My sandal? Have you recognized it was Me? My Foot? My Being? Have you proclaimed Me, when only to be confronted with Me, you have denied Me? Have you waited for Me, and when I have arrived, you have refused Me? Have you prepared with anticipation, only to deny Me because I did not look or seem the part you had envisioned? Children, have you listened to your heart, where I speak? Or have you listened to the voice of another? Are you set in your ways, or Mine? Have your turned your back on Me? Am I just another who arrived for your blessing, or have our eyes met and you have known your Lord? Are you open to preparation to receive Me? Or are you molding ME to fit YOUR expectation? Have we met? Have you refused My Advance?
Lambs, hear Me. I am speaking to you here. There are no new facts which would change My Scripture. I am, afterall, the Word of God! I do not deny Myself. I proclaim Myself.
Children: son, daughter, hear Me. I speak now to your soul. My soul recognizes Me. For it is My Life within you. Hear Me, O soul! Lead My person to Me. Please! Follow the lead, the announcement of Good News! God is speaking to His people! God is speaking to your soul!
Is nothing happening in your life? Are you prepared? How are you preparing? Are you alive in Me? How are your living? Are we talking? Are you breathing My Spirit? Are you dining on the Feast of My Eucharistic Meal? Are you seeking true forgiveness of your sins, by the Truth of your own sorrow? Are we having true honesty between us? Or are you suffering a denial?
John preached Repentance. Repentance for your sins. How well do you repent? How well do you forgive? For My Father forgives you as you forgive one another. Mend all wounds before you again approach Me. DO NOT SKIP THESE WORDS. HOW WELL DO YOU FORGIVE?
Sweet lambs, hear Me. I encourage you to be one with each other. To give Glory to Me. For you are then, a reflection of My Trinity. What has broken down our union must be cast asunder. Nothing should interfere with our holy union. Do you know that I am Purpose? And if our Purpose has ceased, it is because YOU have deterred from the Path, not I. Lamb, I echo My cousin's cry! Repent! Repent! Repent! Become worthy to receive Me! Make ready the Way of the Lord! Be prepared to walk with Me! Be Purified! Be alert for the deterrences of the enemy, but know he has no power over you. It is YOU who takes that first step! Repent! Be not deceived by the enemy any longer!
We were walking. We were talking. And then you disappeared. I looked and you were gone from Me. From My Holy Intimacy, you were gone!
Daughter, write these words: The enemy has challenged long enough. I have NEVER spoken a word to cause disunity. I AM UNITY! I am harmony. I do not whisper words in secret which cause disunity. I am Love, Pure Love. I ask you to reach out once again. Come, realize that I chose you for unity. To bring you to My Very Self through the hearts of one another. How shall this be? How shall this occur? Give Me your heart. Your truly repentant heart. I will make all things one in Me. By My Father's Perfect Will. Repentance in your heart! I have come to repair the damage with My Life! Do not enter the scene of My Birth with a tarnished sacrifice. O child, I ache for unity. In Me. Repentance: repair.
Give Me one Gift which I Desire: your heart. Repaired. Redeemed. Renewed. Refreshed. Revitalized. In Me. In one another. Restitution. A loving restitution. Resolve your conflicts. In Me there are no conflicts. If you are to be in Me, then repent. Amen. +
