The Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist,
Saturday, August 29, 1998Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
Life is a statement. Little one, write these Words. Daughter, I give the dictation. It is I, the Lord. [I had been in contemplation with Jesus and Blessed Mother and St. John, and was unsure who was speaking to me.....] (Thank You, my Lord and my God.)
Sweet thing, hear Me. I speak day after day that some might respond. That some might come to live, truly, a True Life in Me. But, what must one be willing to give for such a Life? There own very life! Martyrdom can be bloody, but it can also be of spirit. When you offer yourself to Me, in spite of the world, you are offering a part of you to be sacrificed, martyred for the cause of Me. Yet, some give not only part, but all. And to give all, is what every person is called to. My little lambs, DO hear Me: if you are to follow Me, then it must be to the death in this world, that you would be fully with Me in the next. But while you are here, you are likewise, called to a Perfection in Me. I provide the Grace to achieve such attempt at Perfection, so offer Me no excuse.
Each one is called to live in obedience to My Law. To cover, to deviate from the Law.....My Law.....is to avoid Truth. I am Truth. Then, you are avoiding Me.
Truth is Truth. There is no deviant. Bent Truth is called lie. An accountability of self is required for lie. My John lived a Life of Truth. [ref. today's Gospel] He died because of Truth. *I* died because of Truth. Our deaths occurred because we Loved the Truth, and because those gathered about us could not, would not, accept the Truth. Truth is hard. It can force one to one's knees. It can force one to lay down one's life. The viciousness of lie can hammer Truth to a Cross; it can take the head which proclaims Truth, but it can never kill the heart. In true martyrdom, the blood shed nurtures new growth, stronger growth, that no lie can extinguish. The lie becomes magnified in the face of Truth. Truth washed in blood, suffering, a martyrdom, serves to show the lie as lie. There is a difference as night is to day. Truth overshadows lie. Truth succeeds and lie is eventually beheaded and banished. Wherein lie would behead Truth, lie is cast into the fires of Gehenna. Death becomes Life for Truth. And life becomes death for lie.
Testimony! What shall yours be? What shall YOUR life proclaim about you? Truth to the death? Or death because of your lie.....eternal death? What price shall you pay? For what purpose shall you sacrifice your life? For My Sake? Or for the sake of the world? For My Sake? Or for a moment's pleasure? For My Sake? Or for self-gratification? For My Sake? Or for your own? Until the death.....shall we part? Or be joined forever in the Glory of My Father's Kingdom?
Children: Truth is Truth. Where do you stand? Where do you lie? My Word is firm. Covered in the Sacrifice with My Blood. What are you willing to give to be Mine? Life. Life. Life. True Life. In Me. Amen. It is hard. I know. I know. Come! Be consoled in My Cross. Amen. †
