Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
[Jesus speaks.....]
Here is My Word today for those who would challenge Me and My Way: Give to Me your heart. Wrap it constantly in prayer, and be in obedience to My Church: to Her prescribed laws and to My Own. Faith, Scripture and Tradition, this is where you are to live, if you are to be True to Me. Yet, even as I did these things in My Life among you, I was ridiculed.He who steps aside of the norm: the norm you would judge with your eyes, it is he who you come to criticize. Yes, John [the Baptist] was unusual in APPEARANCE, yet if you saw the intent of his heart, he was marvelous to behold. O! The value of a mirror, if you are willing to hold it up to your soul!
And then, there is Me: Gentle and Meek, yet a seeming "challenge" to the authority around Me. Why? Because beyond and through the letter of the law, I brought to it a purity by the understanding of a heart. Yes, the law stands. But it is how you look at it. Does it serve man or God? Do you use the law to serve man or God? For all things must be rendered to God. If not now freely.....then.....then in the end, when all things fall away. All that you do should lead your heart, your soul, to Me!
Are you not advised, taught, instructed, to keep in constant prayer? Children! It is YOU who say this is impossible! My Word says to pray constantly. If you truly obeyed My Word, you would do so. And so, here is the matter to be understood in this regard: what is prayer? Some would say it is written, to be read, to be announced. For some.....yes. For others it is silent, contemplative, heart to heart. For some.....yes. So, pray constantly as you have been told. But do it as it can be done. Do you understand Me? .....The letter of the law.....how do YOU perceive it?
Children, if you pray constantly, you will be open to a spirit of discernment, because your vision will be constantly turned toward Me. And if you are posed thusly, you will better see clearly, Me and My Way for you. You will be less inclined to JUDGE and more inclined to DISCERN, which for you, is the way you should be. Discernment helps you to know, to decide. Judging causes you to condemn and criticize. Do you comprehend Me? Judgment, as you use it, all too often results in the curt opinion of another. Yet in prayerful discernment, a peaceful resolution is sought by a full understanding.
Why is this the improved form of decision for you? Because in prayerful discernment, your focus is on Me. And I am Truth. And I shall guide you rightly. I shall guide you true. Many came to question John the Baptist. Why? Because they stopped at his outward appearance. More stopped at his word. Why? Because it troubled their hearts. They did not pray to discern why their hearts were troubled. They judged John and condemned him. But their hearts never changed. And, O, I wish they would have! [.....Here, Jesus paused, with bowed Head, to ponder.....and then, looking up again.....] For they condemned My cousin to death by their hearts which they would not change. And, suffering under the cross of obedience to the Word of God, John, My Love, was killed. Need I relate the same to Me?
Children, so I ask you, what am I saying here? When something challenges your heart, do not cast it off; but, come to ME and ask ME to help you discern, to know, to understand the question in your heart. In Me there is Total Truth. Why would you turn elsewhere for your understanding? In Me is the Wisdom of My Church which is governed by the Spirit of God. Why would you turn anywhere else? My Church teaches you to pray, to discern, to obey. Why would you seek anything else? Why would you judge or condemn, when that is MY Right? For I am the King. I am the Church. The Church is in Me. And I am in you. And you are to be in Me.
In the end, once again, it is being. Where are you in Me? Why are you aside of Me? Do you look and see your Saviour? Or a challenger to the rule. If it is YOU who do not understand, why is it you judge that it is *I* Who am wrong? Herod preferred to break the law, and so, John who was Truth, was killed. Who was right? Who was wrong? Who turned to God in prayer?
Will you lose your life to gain True Life in Me? Will you go against the "norm" to follow Me? Will you keep Me to the side, as you wander through life on your own? Will you come to Me in constant prayer? Will you come to BE in ME?
My lambs, DO hear Me. I am Truth. Truth is speaking here. Obey My Law. Love one another as I Love you. Begin with your own heart. For I will help you, even as I am already busied with the heart of the other. Let us hold up the mirror to YOUR soul. For YOU are My concern. It is for YOUR salvation that I died. Let us begin, now, on you! Much improvement is needed. Perfection is a journey. Come, let us begin. Amen. †
