Sunday, December 27, 1998Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
[Abba speaks.....]
In Faith I ask you to walk with Me, holding My Hand. That we would walk on a journey known only to Me, and that you would follow in blind Trust in Me. Where would your feet go in My Path.....in harm's way? Would *I* do such a thing to you? Ah! There are testings along the way, but I would never harm you. Testings to prove your strength, your strength of Trust upon Me. Your Trust IN Me.Read the First Reading, and return. (Yes, Lord. Sirach 3:2-6, 12-14.)
My children, hear Me. I have created a family, that I might have a place to teach you, firsthand, of My Way. That the Breath of God Breathes all new life: in the womb, in each one's soul. To respect and honour parents is a COMMAND I have given.....a COMMAND! How well is it obeyed? IS it obeyed? Where, O where would you learn to respect ME, if I had not started you within your family! O family! So torn! O family! So stressed! O family! So strong! YOU are where I have built society. Yes, upon YOU! And the measure of strength in a family is the measure of strength in society. And by your actions with one another, you act as well, to Me. Yes.....think of this, ponder this. Where are we today.....O family, My Own?
The Psalm. (Yes, Lord. Ps. 128:1-5.)
Yes, that Gift of Fear of the Lord: Respect, Reverence. Where is this in your life? Where is this in your family? *I* am the Creator of all Life. Where have you participated in Me? Where have you snipped My Life from the Vine? The Vine is Mine and you are the branches! How well do you reflect your place on the Vine? Do you reflect My Just Leadership? Do you reflect My Intense Love? And children.....do you live as if you belong to the whole.....to the Vine where I have you as well? Blessed is he who lives in reverence of one another. For there, within you, am I. Is life respected in your home, that it might have a place in society, in the world? Measure the condition of society. See the condition of family.....The Vine..... Do you see? O! How I have tended you, O plant! I have given My Law. I have given My Word. I have seen you saved in the Blood of the Lamb. Yet, you ignore all I have done to make you whole in Me. And now you complain? Ah! I have heard this before.....in the desert. O stiff-necked people, see that Life in Me is Simple. Law, My Own, is the barrier I would not have you transgress. Love in Life should be you way.....all that My Son has taught should be your life. Holy Family, alive in the Church, alive in the world. Where are you, O children? Where in the world is family? Where in the world is your heart? Where in Me are you?
The Second Reading. (Yes, Abba. Col. 3:12-21.)
Have I not just spoken of all these things? There is no game here, children, this is LIFE! A Way to a True Life in Me! My Word is alive. Where are you in My Word? Do you live in My Word? Do you transgress My Law? Is your life lived that all would look and see and know that God IS with you NOW? Read the Word.....yes, if you have not done so.....go back and read. This is what I am asking you to do. Obey your Father, please.
The Gospel. (Yes, Abba. Mt. 2:13-15, 19-23.)
Leadership.....What is it in your life? Do you lead according to My Will, or your own? Families must be led with tender Love. Sacrifice is still an active word, children, not to be feared, but embraced. I create you male and female. I give to you each, parts of Me. Did you know that? I instill into each the ability to Love, to lead, to be filled with heart-felt compassion. But ALL leadership must spring forth from a desire to do My Will in all things. For, how shall a child learn true obedience unless it is observed that YOU, as parent, are in obedience, willing obedience, to Me? How can a child learn Love unless it is visible in the the parents.....one to the other in Me? All of Life can be learned in the home where Love and Obedience reside. But beyond all things, it is Love in Me.....Obedience in Me. For then, *I* rule your mind, your heart, your home! And Peace enters therein. Even in strife, Peace enters therein. If you lead in focus upon Me.
Ah! No new lessons here.....Focus upon Me. Live to do My Will. "Yes, Lord, I come to do Your Will." "Yes, Lord, be it done unto me according to Your Word." "Yes, Lord.....Your Will, not mine."
I am your Father. Come and live in My Home. Now. My Kingdom is amid you. God is with you now. O family, rise! Look to Me. I shall lead you out of your dark valley! I shall lead you home. But you must be willing to move from your place of worldly complacency into a place of Trust in Me. And I will not harm you. I will raise you up for all the world to see. But first, you must come to be. In Me. Amen. †
