Thursday, February 5, 1998Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
[Jesus speaks.....]
Be blessed, O lambs who would serve Me! Be reliant on nothing but Me! If you are truly about My Work, then would it not be fitting to consult your Master as to His Desires? See how those who have gone before you [as in yesterday's Message, as well] have served Me. And see further, how when their focus fell more on their desires of how to serve than Mine, that they veered from My Pure Path.If you have given to Me a life of Poverty, then let Poverty mark your ways. Serve Me only with Poverty. Let ME fill your basket with what it is you need. Poverty is a Virtue that most acquire as they walk with Me. For to look in your heart and see it filled with desires for this world, is not to be in Poverty. The vows which have been given to Me of Poverty must be better lived. Let Me explain this.
If you are in My Spirit, then you are not of this world. You are IN it, yes: living, breathing, visible. But the better part of you is in Me. But HOW you are in Me is contingent on how much of the world in your soul you are willing to relinquish. As your desire to be in Me increases, you will give more and more of your inner being to Me, and so, cast out more and more of the world. It will be a natural progression then, to decrease in your desire for worldly goods. It will become how you look at the world which is different. You will come to look and see an item in the world and measure its worth by how it will help you to come more fully into Me. And so, though all on a true road to Me will become in Poverty, those who have dedicated themselves to Me thus, must take special care not to lose that which has been given to Me! You have given Me that part of your world. If you take it back, you begin to journey from My Side. For, I am with you always. And I have given all I am to My Father. Come, follow Me.
Children, those known as My "religious" take such vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience. The intensity of their lives should reflect the magnitude of what has been given to Me. For if it has been given, then it should no longer be visible, should it? And yet, all My lambs are called to such a life. If you truly are following Me. Be one in Me. One Body. One Flesh. Me in you. You in Me. So....where are you then, absolved of such a life? Poverty of heart is for all. To live in Me is to be rich in Me and poor in the world. As I have just taught.
Chastity: O world, do you wonder what this is? It is My pure soul upon whom I look. A soul living in Me and not by the flesh. All are called to Chastity. For the body you have, is Mine on loan to you. It is gift. Not to be scorned by the sexual pleasures in this world. A life of abstinence for the unmarried; and moderation for those who are [married]. That the denial of the pleasure is offered to Me that I might be the One Who fills you with Joy. That in Marriage all serves to become more and more, One in Me! O virgin soul! Married, or otherwise. Be Mine! The most priceless possession I have given you is this body, this Temple of Me! Do not desecrate My Dwelling Place!
(Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. In atonement for our sins and those of the whole world! St. Agatha, virgin and martyr, pray for us. May your blood and all who have died in the Footsteps of Jesus, help to purify us. Amen.)

My Way, not yours. My Way leads to My Father. Your way is of the world; to suffer, to die. To follow My Way is to live forever in Me. Here at the Side of My Father. If you are truly commissioned in Me, then reflect Me. Live by the Will of My Father. Submit your will to Him. For that part which you reserve, is your own possession. It is that part of you which is not in Me. Do not be the agent to block Unity. Come, be One in spirit, that My Will would be accomplished. I and the Father are one. Distinct, yes, but One. Mystery!And so, as I dispense My Blessing upon you, be worthy of the title: "My followers." DO go and teach all nations, My Way. Let them look at you and see Me! Children, I am raising you up to Perfection. It is possible in Me. By My Grace. I send you off, but as you travel, I should see you coming closer and closer to Me. In you I should see Myself.
Two by two. You in Me and I in you. I am with you always. You in Me as I am in you. We. Us. To the Father. One in being. Poverty in Me. Chastity for Me. Obedience to Me. Amen. +
