Title: "Anything which takes your true focus from Me is My
rival."

Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!! Praise and Glory be Yours, O God. My Lord, in
"The Word Among Us" this morning a question is posed: "Do
we consider ourselves to be sinners who struggle to Love God....or lovers of God
who struggle with sin?" I have pondered this, my Lord. And I DO
now, see the difference. The first is like a drowning man, swimming for
Dear Life (You), but constantly swallowing water (the world), and filling with
fatigue (sin). The second is a Life in You. Clear vision and focus
on You. Clarity that we are IN this world but not of it. Your Grace
sustains us, O Lord. And sin nips at our feet. And we see its
ugliness and rejoice in Your Holy Sacrament of Reconciliation! O God, You
have provided for us so Completely. God be praised! Thank You for
Your Sacraments, O Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! I Love You and adore
You. I believe in You and by Your Grace, I come to be able to trust in You
completely. O Lord! You envelop us in Your Love! You bathe us in
Your Wisdom! O God! Without Your Protective hand, I should
drown! But by Your Grace, I CAN see the difference! O Lord, may I
receive Your Grace to live as a LOVER of You who struggles with sin.
Amen. Alleluia. Maranatha!!
[The Lord speaks.....]
Daughter, record these words which I would
speak to you. (Yes, my Lord and my God!)
An Act of Faith! An Act of Believing! Pouring up and out of a
heart living, dwelling, in Me. No, you shall not drown. Yes, your
nature is sinful. Yes, you can weaken. But to remain in My Light IS
to see the difference......Tell her I have taught her first. [Jesus
smiles as I realize I have heard this teaching which He taught just last week to
my sister in Him.] (Thank You, O Lord! O Gracious Lord! How
kind You are to us! Thank You, Jesus, for all Good things! Thank
You, Jesus, for Grace which flows so freely upon us.)
And within you, little one. For every person in Me is immersed in
the Well of Life. My Grace is flowing. My Mercy is flowing when a
heart is immersed in Me. Truth shall prevail. And Truth is
Light. Therefore, the more you come to share in My Life, the more Truth
you shall see. And as your eyes become accustomed to this Light of Truth,
all the more quickly will you see those things which can lead you to sin.
These weaknesses need strength. Children: that is why I ask
constantly that you BE in Me. Did you not think I had a
Purpose?
Let us look then, at occasions of sin. Look around you. Do see
all the good which is present. But lambs, YOUR misuse of even the good can
become a disguise which can begin to entrap you. My John [I understood
the Evangelist] says to be careful of false idols. He does not refer
to the large golden idols fashioned with man's hands, though these
are to be avoided. His reference is to all that would deter you from Me.
What do I mean? Let Me explain.....
Anything which takes your true focus from Me is My rival. Anything
which competes with Me is My rival. Your focus is to be on Me.
Yes? (Yes, my Lord.)
Then know that all you think and do and say should be in focus on
Me. Let us continue, child. Hear Me. Now, if you are trying to
pray and you still have noise around you of your own choice, that is My
rival. Why do I address prayer? Because it is the moment in which
you come to Me. And I to you. DO provide us a moment, at least, in
solitude. I know your life is busy, but there should be time for Me.
All that you DO can be done in My Name. Then, all that you DO is
prayer! For surely, you must DO as you dwell in this Life. Do you
understand? (Yes, my Jesus!! Grace me, Lord, that I might
forever heed Your Holy Word.)
I continue about prayer. I would ask you to become My willing
slave. That you would be a person willing to serve Me in My Every
Need! Would you oblige Me? O child, let us look at your
actions.
To whom do you pray? Me? Yes? Then why not let go of
some of the words, from time to time, and truly just BE in Me! For to whom
you are enslaved is your master. Is even prayer your master? Or am
I? I ask you this that you might grow closer into Me! BEING in Me is
of the utmost concern this day!
I bless you, lambs. I ask you to have clear vision. Of who you
are to Me. Know that your position is to bow before Me. Let
all other distraction go. Be not the slave of distrraction. Some of
the sheep are really wolves, and this is true as well for distraction. For some
are innocent, but others veer you from the Path. Even your innocent
moments of distraction are to be given to Me. That is, if you truly desire
Perfection. And in Me, that Process of Perfection is occurring in your
midst.
What in your life brings you to Me? What in your life can be let go,
set aside? What are you willing to do for Me? Or are you serving
your own desires? See, child! The Wisdom of God in My
Saint! (I smile.....Yes, Jesus, I see. Shall I record it, Lord?)
You have known from the start, O Sarah, My child. I use all that is
available to My Fingertips. I melt by the Power of My Spirit.....I mold by
the Strength of My Father's Hands.....O clay pots! I form you! O
clay pots! Be willing to be who you are formed to be! My
pottery. Fragile yet strong in Me. And all that is around you is to
serve Me as well. Let the water which fills you, O pots, be My Living
Water. Let your purpose be Me. Yes, now. Do record her word,
for it is as My Own. I Love you, lambs. Amen. (My
Lord, I shall take the liberty of speaking for my sisters and brothers.....WE
Love You, Jesus. Thank YOU Jesus! Praise be to You, JESUS!
Amen!) +
"Our self-love is so subtle; at times it makes us believe that we are
seeking God, because we are so much attached to the things of His service, that
we feel some annoyance when obliged ot leave them. This is because
we seek our own satisfaction rather than God: a heart that wishes for Him
alone finds Him everywhere." ["Thoughts & Sayings of St.
Margaret Mary" for January 10]
