First Sunday in Lent, March 1, 1998
Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
Jesus, I sit here in recollection. I come before You, O Lord. I hear Your sweet birds singing their praise. Yet Lord, my heart sings all the louder. JESUS, I LOVE YOU. Over and over, JESUS, I LOVE YOU. O Lord, I feel encapsulated in this time of Lent! There is such LIFE here, My Lord! In You! The holiest of times! My Jesus, Lent used to be for me a time of doing without; but in You, my Jesus, it is a time of BEING all the more! In You. Thank You, Jesus, for this precious, precious time. O Lord, I shudder and shake within my being for how I Love You. Words do not suffice, my Lord, and so I offer You the frailty of me. Please accept my heart, dear Jesus. Please accept this YEARNING which permeates my being. Amen!!

The Son of God has come to relieve man of every sin. The blackest of hearts becomes Light in Me. An open heart. A port of entry. This is what I require. A look, a glance. A moment in Me. I will accept even a wondering gaze. A questionable frown. A moment, a second. In Me. And it shall begin. The precious journey of a soul unto Me.Children of the world, hear Me. Open you hearts to Me that we might begin our journey. That we might begin the journey into unity, oneness in Me! Open hearts: you leave the world behind and you become My royal nation. But to do this you must be WILLING to turn your back on the ways of the world which are sinful. You must come to a point of prayerful discernment, of being in touch with My Law, of seeing the world through My Eyes.
Children, will you hear Me? I, the Lord your Jesus, am speaking to you. Have you truly found Me yet? Have you discovered My Presence in your midst? Satan has. He has come to tempt Me. He has come to challenge Me. He who is eternal damnation has found Me. Where, O child, are you?
I ask you to focus on Me as I focus on My Father. Little lambs [.....Jesus speaks to us so tenderly.....] how will you succeed, but by Me? The tempter promises you success by your own hands, measured in the ways of the world. He fogs your mind to this temporary world and sits you on the throne of your own domain. He gives to you a world all your own, and you accept it. O! The deception! Look below your feet! There is nothing supporting this world, this kingdom you would own. For the Kingdom is MINE! All of creation belongs to My Father, My Father Who has made Me King.
You hunger and thirst for so much Truth. You receive it many times, but you do not let it permeate your being. You categorize so much of life that you do the same with Truth. You hunger and thirst. The enemy enters. He offers you food for thought: the food of the world. Personal gain: you imbibe it. Fame: you thrive on it. When do you hunger and thirst for Me? When do you long for the Meal of My Word? When do you long for My Body, My Blood?
Children, do you not see what you do? You hunger and thirst for things of this world. You fill your bellies with all that passes so quickly from your being; and so, you crave more! I am the Bread of Life. My Blood is the Cup of Salvation! I am the Meal which not only satisfies, I satiate your being. My Love is never ending. But the tempter would tell you I am reserved. For a day. For a time. For a moment. O! The deception sickens My Being! I long for you to come to Me. I am the Way. I am the Truth. I am the Life.
Children, I know of temptation. But you must have eyes of Faith and Conviction that you might come to see the difference between Me Who am God, and Satan who is the father of every lie! Too many of you reserve Me and then replace the very space which would be Mine with things of this world! I stand before you: here and now! I am Jesus. I am here! The Kingdom is Mine!
But who shall occupy it? Who shall LIVE here? I desire living hearts, not rocks, hearts of stone! And so, I come to teach you the Life in My Word. That you, too, might have the Life within it. Come forth, O little children, lambs, My own. See that all *I* have said is TRUTH! Feast on the things of My Eternal Kingdom! Feast on the things of the Word become Flesh! You are looking for investment which is sound! I tell you this: place your heart into the Treasury of My Grace. I shall endow you with untold wealth: the wealth of My Kingdom. I give to you My Very Self. I ask you to become one in Me. The riches I offer are everlasting. They shall never become tarnished. They shall increase in value even in the face of every adversity!
My lambs, I will not tempt you. I will not trick you. I tell you I am here. I speak to your heart. Now look: I hold out My Hand to receive you. When you are ready. O! Let the moment be NOW! If it please the Will of My Father. The Freedom I offer already lives in your heart. Reach out now, and grasp this Hand. It is the Source of Life. Amen. +
