First Week of Lent
First Friday, March 6, 1998Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
[Jesus speaks.....]
My children, hear Me. If you are to be one in Me, then you must not deny My Cross. Look upon Me here. Do not deny My Sacrifice. The Whole of My Life has come to This Moment. My Life being rendered for the sins of every man, woman and child.Purity of heart is why I have come to be among you. That you might attain it. For, without My Sacrifice, such purity would remain unattainable. What is there to write, but that you examine your conscience daily. Be aware of your sinful nature and look into yourself that you might be cleansed. Reconcile regularly, for this cleansing keeps your heart pliable in My Hands. It makes you more capable of seeing sin as it enters your realm. More sensitive do you become, to things which do not belong. And you shun them, repel them. And should you fall, you will be aware and more able to unload the sinful guilt that you bear.
My little lambs, hear Me. A sinful heart is a darkened heart. You grope in your darkness, rather than dance in My Light. And there is a difference in your way, that becomes obvious to those around you.
Now let Me speak of your neighbor. I have said, to Love one another as I Love you. Completely. Wholly. How shall this be if you bear any animosity for one another. I say do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I say forgive as you would be forgiven by My Father. For as you mete will it be meted out to you. I say do not come and worship or offer Me a damaged sacrifice, damaged by the ill will you bear your neighbor. And if you know he is of ill will to you then why? Make amends. Because Love cannot prevail unless you do.
How shall you make amends? You shall make a restitution for all the wrong you have done. Here. Or there. For no one enters My Father's House unless he is blameless. Your garments must be snow white. And to do this, is to be washed in the Blood of the Lamb. My Blood. I purify you. As I have said: you are set free by the Sacrifice of My Cross. But you must come to My Cross. You must confront your guilt. Children, if a wrong has been done against you, you must forgive completely. To meet your attacker in prayer, beyond all else. If you are offended, offer reconciliation and Peace. Offer Love, Prayer, Thanksgiving. This sets free the bondage of sin. This sets free the ability to forgive and be forgiven. Go to one another in spirit, if a physical meeting is not wise or within your ability. If you have forgiven, then do not dwell on what was done, or you keep the wound open and the healing cannot begin.
The quality of life in your soul is contingent upon your ability to forgive. Where pride is in your life, becomes visible by how well you are forgiven. Can you accept that you would be forgiven? That you have erred? That in the eyes of another you have done wrong? Can you admit to your weakness and let bygones be bygones? Can you accept the forgiveness of another for the sake of growth in Love?
Forgiveness is a two-way street, My lambs. To forgive is to say the other has wronged. To be forgiven is to admit your own guilt. To be in Love, melts the division, exposes the Truth, sets free the guilt. And all is forsaken for the Goodness of Love. That healing occur, there must be Love, Honesty, Truth, Temperance. Bear no grudge. A grudge exists in the absence of Love. A grudge arises in the presence of pride. And pride is the downfall of all mankind.
For all too many people, the lack of forgiveness is the stunt of growth. There remains a darkened area where True Love is kept out. My lambs, I impart to you My Peace. DO let My Light enter your darkness. Healing must begin: healing of hearts. Come follow Me. Notice that I do not harbour any ill will, when even upon My Cross. >From there I have forgiven all who have offended Me.
My Heart is Magnificent. It is full of Love. Full of forgiveness to all who would come to Me. Come here and sip of My Love. I will fill you and assist you to seek forgiveness. Of your every sin, your every offense. Child, everything finds solace in My Cross. This Place of Healing. Of seeking forgiveness. Of being forgiven. If growth is to occur within you, let it be Here in Forgiveness' Open Arms. For a wounded heart forgiven, is a mending heart. And a mending heart becomes whole by My Healing Hand. And My Healing Hand reaches out with Love. And Love covers a multitude of sins. It is forgiveness. The key which unlocks every heart. Amen. +
