Third week of Lent, Saturday, March 21, 1998
Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
[Jesus speaks.....]
I invite you each to the Banquet of My Life. For at My Table I serve Life: My Own. My Body. My Blood. Me. Now I ask: who is worthy to receive Me. What human being would think there is a right to imbibe the Body, Blood, Soul, Divinity of the Son of God? By what right? I am that Right. By My Sacrifice, have you earned Righteousness. By Me.Now, there is a school of thought that good works is part of your salvation. And this is true. But let Me explain. My lambs, nothing that man can do has ever equaled My Sacrifice. It is the Will of the Father that the right, the justification for your entry into His Kingdom, come through My Incarnation, Life, Death and Rising. I am Salvation. I am Saviour. YOU are saved. And if I Touch you, would you not be changed? By My Life and Death has sin been lifted from an unbearable burden, to one which can be absolved. As you enter My Glory through Baptism, you enter My Life, fully. That original sin is abolished is true, but the impact of its inheritance remains. I forgive your sins. You are healed. If you fall again, again I heal you. You are Mine. Will you BE in Me? Now I ask YOU about good works. If I am the Good Work of Salvation, then what value are YOUR works? Where is their bearing. It is a matter of thought. A matter of heart. A matter of action.
It is My Heart's Desire that you would BE in Me. Through Baptism do you enter. By Reconciliation can you stay; for if Moses left his sandals aside to be in My Presence, then I request YOU to leave aside your sin. I forgive a repentant heart. I nourish you with My Body, My Blood. I Grace you in your Journey through Life: My Sacraments. But what of your good works? Have you understood their rightful place?
Children, do not go through life performing tasks to impress Me. Do not perform works to impress your neighbor. Values such as these have no worth in My Sight. What I ask is for you to BE in Me! And if you have properly entered My Being, you shall grow. Yes. You shall grow in a desire to remain in Me. To be in Me. And a natural outpouring of such a placement of self is to come to know Me more and more. To Love Me more and more. And the service: it will be a part of your being. No longer are they "chores to be done." No longer are they items in a cart filled like Christmas gifts, the quantity of which is meant to impress. In fact, you shall not see the labour. You shall not see the work. It will be another part of your being in Me. It is for others to see. Others to know. For you, the action is BEING!
Confronted with Goodness, how often have you said, "I could not HELP myself. I just HAD to do it!" My Goodness is like a refreshing well. I fill you. I encompass you. I refresh you. I nourish you. I rise from within you. I pour down upon you. Come, be immersed in My Life. In My Life and Death I remained focused on My Father. You are called to the same thing. To Focus on God. That all else shall peel away. O yes! You have duties, obligations for your place in the world. But in union in Me, all finds its proper order. And children, since in Me there are no burdens, I shall help you in all that you do.
I grant to you a different vision. I would give to you My Wisdom. To see the world as I do. Children, all that you see, all that you do, is a Way to a True Life in Me! Can you not see this? If you have been following Me; if you have been LIVING My Word, you should have noticed by now.
Can you not see the teaching value here in My Words? Have you not grown? Even a little? Have you not had a new hunger for My Word, My Holy Scripture? For the Lessons are contained there. All you need to know is contained in My Church. I am the Church. I enhance Myself. But the Value of Life is there. In Her. My Bride. Your Mother. My Church.
True Life is contained in the Wisdom I impart to My Church. She is now the Source of your life, for there I am. This reading is a Way to True Life. Do not allow it to become a sole fixation. I am Complete. Be ALL in Me. I give you My All. I long for YOUR everything! That we shall be one!
Do not stand aside of Me in your sinful state. I have removed every excuse. Do not stand and proclaim your good works. I am the Perfect Good Work. Do not resist Me any longer, lambs. You flee, I follow. I arrive before you get there. I will beg you like a beggar, one more time.
Come, follow Me. Be in Me. Now and forever. Amen. +
