Message 639
Title: "Your
frustrations are your own. They are a clear sign of where you have excluded
Me."
(Notebook XLVII, pp. 191--194)
Live Jesus
St. Matthew, Monday, September 21, 1998
Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
My Lord, there is a thought within me this morning which will not leave me alone. And
it is that I am a rock, sitting on the road's edge, and I wait in constant Hope for that
moment when You will pass by, my Lord; when You will again pick me up, that I might feel
the Gentle Warmth of Your Hand. My Lord, in utter nothingness I wait for You.
For if I am to become anything at all, it will be by Your Kind Hand. O Sweet
Lord! Refresh me with Your Gentle Rain. Smooth me and make me anew!
O Lord! How ordinary things become grand by Your Touch! Thank You,
Lord, forever and ever! Amen!
[Jesus speaks.....] Pick up your pen and follow Me, Sarah. For I would
lead you, I would teach you. And I would teach and lead all who would follow Me.
All are invited. None are excluded. But many exclude Me from their
lives. I become an appointment on their social calendar. I become a duty, an
obligation.....in some cases.....to be endured. I become the millstone around some
necks. I become their limitation rather than their Freedom. And why?
Because I am being held prisoner within a heart, their own.
These are the things that occur to Me. I am Resurrected, yet some would
constantly bury Me. Joy rushing through your veins, should be your life in Me.
But all too many choose boredom of self: self who tries to containerize their
God. The result of such an endeavor is interior frustration. Children, I tell
you this: your frustrations are your own. They are a clear sign of where you
have excluded Me. Yes. Where YOU have excluded ME.
What would YOU do if I walked right up to you now, and asked you: Come follow
Me. Would you come? Do you say "yes"? But child, all too often
in your life, I have walked away empty-handed. Or you have followed, but when I
turned, you were gone. O! So very distracted are you!
But, I am a Patient God. I wait. In invite. I beckon, constantly.
I have become used to rejection, but I do not accept it as a final answer.
The world is large and round and full of delights. Yet I am in and around and beyond
the world! All too many refuse Me. I am Eternal Promise, Eternal Life, and
instead, the choice is made for fleeting pleasure and things of this world which soon
disappear. You are serious about many things in this world, but truly avoid those
things which mark your eternity.
Do you hear Me now? Have you followed now? Would you be filled as I
would fill you. .....Yes, child, use it today. (Yes, my Jesus.)
"The soul that is the humblest and most despised will be most loved by His
adorable Heart. The most despoiled and stripped of all things will possess It more
fully." ["Thoughts and Sayings of St. Margaret Mary" for September
21]
And now I say again: Come follow Me. Be in Me. Now. And
forever. Amen.
(Eph. 4:1-7, 11-13; Ps. 19:2-5; Mt. 9:9-13)
With Love, in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary,
His Sarah
