Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
Daughter, write from your heart. (My Jesus, I have come here to be with You. You have asked me to rush to Your Word. [This represents a change in my daily prayer "routine."] And so, I have read Your Word, my Lord. And in Awe have I seen how Your Apostles reacted to the request of James and John. And I have recalled Your Words, just days ago, "There is no jealousy Here in My Kingdom. No rivalry. Not Here." [Message 800, 3/1/99] And I have praised You in my heart! And I have LONGED for You to speak now, that I might learn, that we might write. And in the middle of this time, of our being together, my son has asked that I iron his shirt.)
And what have you done, child? (My Jesus, I have taken You in my heart, to iron that shirt. And now, here we are, Lord.)
For to serve is to honour Me. (Yes, Lord. In all things, Lord.....Jesus! I want to come to know You better! Ah! Jesus!)
Yes, continue, child. (Yes, Jesus! I have just realized how You have drawn me, once again, into Your Living Word! .....Last night, Lord, at our parish mission.....Your priest was speaking about allowing You to break open Your Word for us. That we might come to know You within Your Word. And I have thought then, of how I have been with You like this, for so MANY Glorious Days, Lord! And yet.....I have prayed in that moment, asking Blessed Mother, to help me to come to know You better.....better than I now do, Lord. In that moment, Lord, I have realized how hungry I am for You, my Lord.)
And now? (Now I must pause to feed my son, Lord.....And to prepare a lunch for my husband, Lord.....And to start his car, Lord, so Your frost might leave the windshield before he leaves for work. .....And now, Lord, I am back here with You.....Ah! Lord!.....)
Yes, child. To serve. Me. You have gone nowhere. You have been with Me through it all. (Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!)
To know Me is to Love Me is to serve Me, is to be. Yes? (Yes, Jesus.)
[Jesus continues.....]
And so, what shall I teach today that has not already been taught? In My Kingdom, there is no room for jealousy or rivalry. It is all about serving with a TRUE focus on Me. See? You long to be as another, but you are to be, fully, you: you in Me! For if you are, then in your moment, you shall be fulfilling the Word and the Will of God. No matter how simple or great according to human opinion.....it should be of little concern. What matters is: you, in Me, in our moment together. And DO hunger and thirst for more of Me. I shall fill you, I shall satiate you. Let ME fill you to your capacity. I know your every nook and cranny. I shall perfectly fill your every need. According to My Perfection.So, if you long to follow Me, to be with Me, to be in Me: be prepared to be filled as I would fill you, where I would fill you, when I would fill you, how I would fill you.....yes, how. Leave the process to Me. For you, I require a heart ready to be changed, willing to be opened.
EVERY heart is precious to Me, little ones. EVERY heart. And YOURS is the one I hold right now. Let THIS be our moment, little ones. Here. Now. This breath.
How ordinary is ordinary, in a moment in Me? How great can be YOUR moment when you are truly bowed before Me? To serve requires willingness. To serve requires openness to change. To serve requires Abandonment and Trust in Me. To serve, requires you. And one word, no matter how small, or how feeble in attempt. That word is "yes." "Yes, Lord, I come to do YOUR Will."
I accept your invitation, no matter how great or how small. Come, let us develop your heart. Amen. †
