Monday, May 3, 1999Dear Jesus and Holy Mother,
[Jesus speaks.....]
And so, I call you forth by name, to come and follow Me. And then, this journey becomes a process of YOUR life in Me. For, between you and I, it is all about how well YOU come to ME. I have come for you. I have died for you. That we might live, forever, in My Father's House. And all that I teach, I teach that you might learn. To be more and more like Me. That you, too, might accomplish all that I do. Yet, there is the matter of your Faith. How weak it still is! How much more you must come to dwell in Faith!Children, for you to succeed in Faith, you must become more and more pure. Pure in body. Pure in mind. Pure in spirit. It is utterly important that you willingly be cleansed. Again and again, lest your imperfections retard your growth. Have you not noticed that in one instance you are living what you believe; and in the next, you believe what you are living? There is a difference! DO ponder this thought! O! children! I Love you so! I would spare no Breath, lest you remain any longer in the infancy of your spiritual life! Come! I DO call you forth to rise up, Here, into My Arms! GROW, little ones! Grow! I Grace you with the ability.
And so, prayers.....anything you ask in My Name. I say.....anything. But, DO read the Words before. [ref. to today's Gospel] The asking from your heart should be rooted in your Faith. And the depth of your Faith, in many instances, is a condition of your ability to pray. For if you truly know Me, you would ask for favors according to My Father's Will. Because you trust Us. Because you have grown. Because you have matured. See? You would not ask for that which you do not need, when you realize all you have has been given with Perfection by the Father. All things can be raised to the Glory of God. Even sin becomes an offering when you lift it freely, that it might be lifted from you.
A quiet, simple, "yes, Lord" would suffice as your prayer. If a deed is to be done, I would whisper it to you. It would be the Will of God. So CLOSE would we be. You and I! Like little birds of the air, I would take care of you. You would receive My Breeze, and upon it you would fly. You would trust I would not drop you like a stone. Like a gentle flower you would lift your face into MY Sunlight and you would grow. And you would receive My Gentle Rain.....all without your moving. Here in the little garden where I have planted you.
How deep is your Faith? Have you let yourself take root? Are you stable as you stand? Stable in Me? Reliant on Me?
Children, you are called to put on the Mind of Christ. Can you do this on your own? No.....I know you cannot. So come, let us walk. Let us talk. Let us be together. Grow into Me. I allow it. And by your agreement, it shall be. And you shall come to be in Me and your Faith SHALL GROW.
And I have come to call you by name. That we would come to know one another that well. Intimacy. Holy intimacy. Faith. Deep Faith. DEEPENING Faith. At My Hands. By My Grace. For your soul.
It is all about your soul. For this, I have died. That we would be one in the other as I am in the Father. As He is in Me. As We are in the Other. As you are called to be in Us. Amen. †
